Almost every day of my life, C2K.
Another classic example in the papers up here. A couple of lowlife scum who claimed to be addicted to online gaming, using that as an excuse why their four kids were neglected---their clothes covered in their own faeces, badly nourished, two of the kids had to have emergency dental surgery and one of them had all her teeth taken out. Apparently, a previous house they'd lived in had to be fumigated. Offered help by the social services, but claimed they could manage. Oh, and the scummers were both jailed for the neglect.
Some people should not be allowed to breed.
Oh God, I'm turning into Dibble.

"Oh God, I'm turning into Dibble."
?Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.? ? Luke 15:10
Welcome into the fold, my son.

I fear you misunderstand me, Buttsie old mate. To me, lowlife scum is a description of anyone (whether born in a palace or a pigsty, illiterate or an Oxbridge graduate, unemployed or the head of a multinational) who puts their own wants above those of people dependent upon them.
Any abuse of children by anyone qualifies them for the term.
The same term applies to those who mug old people, spike women's drink in order to rape them, and any one of a thousand other offences.

Must have been your accent that made me think what I did
I still think a lot comes back to education or in the case of parenting skills,WHAT EDUCATION
Who teaches potential parents the basics of rearing kids?
Seems to be one of those things that left to parents to hand down which most likely explains a lot of the bad behaviour out there
You only know what your taught
cheers

It's the old story---you need a licence to own a dog, but anyone can be a parent.

What, have they brought back dog licenses?
But seriously, I had grave doubts about that fire story. I didn't post because I knew I would get flamed. But I probably will now....lol
