I can watch a few French porn channels ... XXL, Mulrivision 1/2/3 and Spice Platinum - they're all in the TPS package. The porn they show is ok, but they dub most of it into French and have an obsession with showing way too many Rocco movies. There is better to be had in other packages.

I don't know if the channel you are referring to is Canal + ... but it's not free-to-air. The good thing about French satellite is they have more competition than here in the UK, they also have Canalsat as well as TPS - so consumers get more choice than a Sky monopoly.

But the French broadcasting authorities definately do not allow hardcore fta anytime day or night - they recently suspended transmission of Spice Platinum in France until TPS sorted out it's pin system to stop minors viewing.

In Italy Sky has taken over the satellite market and is giving them the same crap we get here, although they do provide 20 ppv hardcore channels from about 11pm thru 6am.

The Daily Mail is the single arbiter of truth in this country, David, and I won't hear anyone say otherwise. If it says chav immigrants from eastern Europe killed Princess Diana and caused the property market to decline, then I believe it.

I'd be so pleased if this story was true, then not only would we have The Ashes but be the Porn capital of Europe..what a great place to live!!

Bell Mooney was interviewed on the radio the other night ... even the interviewer said later she was totally out of touch and bordering on fanatical, especially in her claim that girls who shaved encouraged paedophiles. He added she just came over as a frustrated woman who wasn't getting enough - probably true.
