And almost every advert ends with the phrase "terms and conditions apply" - roughly translated this means you are never going to get the offer we've just told you about.

Some strange presenters on R5 Live:
A woman in the morning who keeps saying 'mmm!' in response to every answer she gets to her questions, mostly in a sort of disapproving way. Then a little twerp who does the tea time news report in the voice of Anthony Worrell-Thompson ... I always imagine a 4 foot dwarf with a ginger beard.
I hate Radio Five Live

Radio Five Live sucks big time, I can't abide talk radio (it should read "talk-shit radio"). Far too much creedence is given to armchair experts spouting off about every subject under the sun, it's like choosing to have the Express, Mail, Mirror and Guardian aurally piped into your head. Similarly the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2... jesus, I thought 6th form debates were pointless and banal when I was in the 6th form, I don't wish to hear grown adults blinkeredly arguing the toss about some third-rate subject... you know, the kind of old tosspots that think every cyclist should have to have a registration plate, tax and mot in order to stop em riding through red lights on pavements. Giving voice to people who should be exterminated should never be encouraged. To me, a radio is essential - but for music and sports coverage only

Currently twittering away in full sanctimonious mode as I write. Fancies himself as a finger on the pulse type, but who's this Pete Docherty getting the full sandals & Guardian treatment?
It's Doherty FFS.
