It's all a charade. Why doesn?t someone step up and say - 'Hey, me and my company don't give the slightest fuck that Kate and her boyfriend enjoy the odd line of Charlie." Wouldn't that be refreshing? At least it would reflect reality - that the vast majority of folks don't give a flying fuck either way. I would be much more inclined to sack her if she displayed elements of naff chav bird style and behaviour - like not wearing imaginative, feminine, sexy clobber, but wearing vest tops and jeans instead. Like not bothering to do her makeup, or staggering round the streets after closing time, spewing and shrieking obscenities. That would certainly mark her out as a seriously naff z-lister, not worthy of our attention and her elevated celebrity status.

Everybody knows the industry surrounding the "media" runs on coke, anywhere where there's a high level of bullshit coupled with a fast lifestyle, be it a newspaper, an advertising agency a record companyt or even the house of commons. there's "devil dust", it's absolutely rife in all walks of life now but there's nowhere it exists more then in the media-run entertainment industry. In fact I'd say the higher the level of hypocrisy the higher the level of cocaine use, the two go hand in hand.
