What made me laugh was the fact her hubby is on the sick (with a bad back) but still manages to help her churn out more kids....

She even admitted that she did cash in hand work at a local taxi firm....

Plus he has proved he can work by running a B and B with her for a reality show on Channel 4 the other week.... Lets hope his local job club spotted it and get him out to work pronto...

In 1997 I got my first mortgage and the Labour government two months later scrapped Mortgage tax relief.....

I was a single person who had saved hard to get a deposit to enable me to get on the property ladder, it would have taken me years in my circumstances to ever get a council property and in one full swoop I was ?40 a month worse off.

When will hard working families/single people and couples get a look in......

My nan/granded bought 6 kids up after the war in East London when there was no state benefit and people had to work to survive..... now for some it seems to easy to live from the state system.

Actually Peter, you're not far off. If you plead asylum then the government must process your claim, regardless of where you come from or the circumstances surrounding you. This means it is entirely possible for you to plead asylum in your country of origin.
