re: Unbreakable. Eh? What a load of overwrought guff. It's like the pilot to a tv series that was thankfully never made. The best superhero film, by a considerable margin, is Pixar's The Incredibles.

Judging from some forumites postings, its got to be Bulldog Drummond for them.

I grew up in the golden days of Marvel, where the heroes were usually flawed. X-Men, Avengers, Iron Man, Mighty Thor, Daredevil (and the Underwhelming rather than Fantastic Four).

Unbreakable is a great film.

Unbreakable is Shyamalans best movie by far (Signs a close second).

I was genuinely surprised when I first saw it, all I knew about it was that a man had survived a train crash and everyone else had died.
Its only when you watch it fully that you realise its a superhero movie and brilliantly done too.
A lot complain that its too slow and plodding but I don't agree, I love this film.

Samuel L Jackson plays one of his best roles to date.

Haven't seen Sin City yet but I've heard only good things about it.
Plus it stars Brittany Murphy so thats a definite plus point for me

I love that film. A really understated little gem. Willis was excellent too, playing against type yet still something of an action man.
best superhero - Spider-man. A classic for a reason.
