the actress that plays Ruby is 17, she just looks young that's all.

there are a few that look younger than there years,irecall sara clee&janina faye got young parts although they were about 25 then.

Louisa Lytton (born 1988) is a teenage actress, she came to fame when she made her first appearance in EastEnders on March 18, 2005, in which she plays the character of Ruby Allen, the daughter of Johnny Allen. She has had roles in Ali G Indahouse, The Bill, French and Saunders, and was Emma Watson's double in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
