i must be missing some point here but dont the r18 titles already have a tax called vat. every unit sold is vatable and then at the end of every year we have to inform the kind mr brown how much we earned so his army can tell us how much we have to pay them. ok so vat can be claimed back but its still a working outlay and before i get me coat yet another tax just plays in to the hands of the booters who can always sell a product cheaper than any outlet or web site. we dont need any laws being changed or extra tax just 2 adult shops in very town in the uk

Yes but its a bit of a double edged sword, more outlets for R18s means more sales which brings in more money for the nice Mr Brown via vat, but how long would it be before he slaps an extra tax on them like the Italians another20% add that to the vat and that would make 37.5% going to the goverment, at the moment its not worth his while doing it because the sales of R18s in the UK are not great because of the current laws on the sale and distribution of them.
