Got my extra protection as well.

Then noticed in the "internet explorer protection" is enabled box ...159 have protection disabled.

So in "quick Task" I clicked on "Enable all protection" now showing....0 items have protection disabled

Guess this is correct.

If your ever unfortunate enough to download something that disables all your spyware removal programs the above smartkiller is very useful

Most of the spyware forums I've used ask that you run CW Shredder before posting the hijack this log for them to help you become uninfected

All good stuff but most of it is unnecessary if you set up your computers security properly and use a half decent browser(Never Internet Explorer)

I think you can get false positives from CWShredder. Yesterday it told me I have CWS.Msconfig but it doesn't exhibit any hijacking properties.

You can get false positives from any like type software Mart

At least with freeware you know the false positives aren't trying to trick you into buying the paid version as many do
