He could have always signed for Rangers to play in the Champions Lge and gone up in the world. Ho ho.

Only joking mate but I bet that got a reaction out of you.

Seriously though when he played in England before then he did okay at Blackburn but I thought he was shite at Chelsea. The ball was often played into his feet and to be kind to him I'd describe his first touch as heavy and to be cruel I'd say it was awful but Ace would have a more informed opinion about that than myself.

I'm surprised he went to Birmingham as they have a similar type to him in Pandiani but then I suppose Pandiani will now go back to Spain.

From the mid-70s onwards they did a page 3---pretty much the same types as The Sun carried. About a decade later the Milly Tants like Burnie were making such a fuss that the Record dropped it.

Last time I looked at it, it had a section of "celeb watching." Jim White having a coffee at the Barras, Billy Connolly walking down Sauchiehall Street---that kind of thing. Oh, and a paragraph saying, "Have you seen a celeb. Email us and let us know."

Wouldn't wipe my arse on the rag!

And his Dad Jock.

Played cricket with a lot of pro footballers in my time and and more often than not they're natural all round sportsmen.

Bloody hell- your stats aren't that bad either (of the two of you listed!). You've either hit two tons or four half-centuries, good shooting.

The Suttons do look like fine players. Not a cricketer myself, however- got a bit scared by having a projectile launched at me at high speed.

I bet you would like nothing more than to be batting at Faye's crease though.............. !wink!

Spot on Eduardo

Being a member of the Winning Blackburn team that stopped the Man U juggernaut really gave him a reputation that he has never lived up to since

cheers

Ok as a latent Blue Nose, I think that Sutton signing for us will be great. Hesky needs a foil on the ground as the Blues do tend to play a lot of high balls up to him, but no one around to feed off him. Also with Pandiani going back to Spain we will be short up front, even though I still think we need a midfield playmaker as Dunn is always crocked.
