More hysterical overreaction by the media and the politicians. If it wan't bird flu it'd be something else - they seem to come up with something new to try and scare the hoi polloi with every year: Don't eat this, don't drink that, some disease or other. BSE. Salmonella. Ebola. And remember 3 or 4 years ago when some weird flesh-eating bug was splashed all over the news for months? I think about half a dozen people died of it in the end, which was unfortunate if you were one of the half dozen but it was hardly a mass plague and definitely not worthy of all the hype.

Interesting though that MPs have seen fit to classify themselves as "key workers", which means that if there is a mass flu outbreak, they'll be the first ones to get preferetial jabs ("I'm alright, Tony"!)

Yeah, and T in the Park may be affected- there are two big chicken coops (i've never actually seen 'coop' written before, is that the right spelling?) nearby. One of them is called the Slam Tent..............

And i've got a 10K run in Dunfermline next month!!!!!

I've had the old bird flu before anyway- I'm certainly not snogging her again.

Like AIDS, you can't get it twice...............

Apparently the scots are worried as it's been said there'll be a charge for each bird flu jab issued.

However, authorities have confirmed it should only be a poultry amount.

*cheers*

.............and a convenient way of getting the f*ck out of Dunfermline. Anybody capable of running, jumping or swimming in Dunfermline now live in Italy.
