Not quite sure how you can compare Spurs to Everton? We have more players in the England squad than any other team, we have been challenging for Europe for the last two seasons, we already have some of the best players in the Premiership and we'll add to them with our large transfer kitty in summer, and the weeding out continues. Spurs has been singled out by both Ferguson and Mourinho as the side now knocking on the door of the top four.
We're in the UEFA Cup, fine. But I would fancy us against anyone except the truly awesome Spanish and Italian sides in the Champs' League. We drew twice with Arsenal, this year's losing finalists, and should have won both games. We drew games with both Liverpool and United, and should have beaten or drawn with CFC in both our fixtures. (Mido being sent off in the first one was criminal). This spells consistency. This is not a flash in the pan. We hold our own with the best and we're still improving and geling as young team.
Of course we should have won games we drew. Remember we lost fewer games than Arse? The issue isn't that Arse pulled it off on the day, it's that we may not have been playing on a level playing field on that day.
COME ON YOU SPURS!
