18-200 is too big a zoom one lense to have nice results.
More thanb 3x its narrow site its going to struggle.

17-40mm is for shooting fat birds or big tits. I don't really like zooms they always have a grain in the corners. Use something around 100mm on a digital should be fine. If using a zoom set it and walk forward or back.
