I still buy 'em, albeit occasionally. Downloading from sites is alright but there are the added bonuses (for me) that a mag doesn't clog up one's hard drive (fnar fnar), you can't carry every pc monitor to a comfortable/private place and that you can pick up a mag without other people in the house knowing what you are doing...
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

4. "I Touch Myself" - The Divinyls

Class- good tune.

At an upcoming wedding, the couple have asked us all for one song we would like played so that everyone will get on the dancefloor at least once. I have asked for a choice of three- and got two! 'This Charming Man' by the Smiths and 'I touch myself' by the divinyls.

I'm not suggesting I'm a compulsive gusset-typist, it's just a good old cheesey tune.

Grrrrrrrrrrreat.

I find the magazines more value than the internet. As a 'teen' fan I find that three or four pounds for a copy of 'Eighteen' or 'Just 18' represents more value than an internet site ?15 - ?20 per month.

While like I said I rarely buy them, I see your point. The teen mags do somehow seem better than the web content, I think it's partly though simply because at least on full page spreads the pictures are larger than most on the web. You can only load a page at the time on the web when looking at full page pics (unless you have a multi screen set up! :) ), flicking through a mag is easier there.

on that point (payment / rights) what happens to website pics from sites which are no more?

Possibly not entirely relevant to this thread, but I was wondering.

Saw these pics, but the site is no more it seems -

I still buy 'em, albeit mostly the older mags from the 70's & 80's as back issues. I occasionally pick up the odd recent issue if it catches my eye, for instance the 40th Anniversary issue of Mayfair...but I don't prefer any particular medium such mags as opposed to the internet or DVD's as opposed to vids, so long as the girls are quality! Therein lies the problem in that there's now too much to pick from! Didn't have this problem in the 80's....but it's a good problem to have!
