The world cup-related advertising has been largely poor all told.

The exception being that new Nike billboard ad with Rooney, which is stunnning, and puts the rest to shame.

Have to agree with most of you and say the Beeb.

I too am p****d off with all the advert breaks (and the irritating Americans with the Budweiser ads) on ITV. They squeeze 3 breaks in in the half an hour before the kick-off with one just seconds before kick-off. Why???
