If you log on with your laptop at a hotspot then you are using their ISP, and as such some of your account logins may not work as wished. If in doubt you can always check and send your email on screen via a browser, as opposed to downloading the messages.

No Fred,
Just a remote part of Europe where I have freedom of expression as defined in Article 10 ECHR.

Hi Mike,
While I was in LA I used t-mobile. It was just about everywhere and really cheap. Over here in the UK it's a little more expensive (suprise, suprise) and the wi-fi service is in most Starbucks coffe shops (like the US). It's cheaper if you pay for a full month etc. Ask around at a t-mobile store or contact them and ask about coverage in europe.
Check out It give's you prices and locations in a few EU countries (though they weren't in English).
They also do a 3g service which is slower and you have to sign up for a 12 or 18 month contract, but on the plus side you're not tied down to airports & coffee shops. Check the 3g option here >
Good luck...

As you're using it abroad, it probably would work out expensive due to the roaming charges. Unlimited UK use is around the ?50 mark per month, and the int. option one is around ?92 per month.
Just depends if you want to run a porn empire sitting in your local starbucks!
