Nah, thats just cruel. If it's stopped working by the time I'm 85 then I hope I've 'forgot' what it's for! !laugh! Why prolong the agony?!
Aside from the fun of squandering....I'd build/restore something really cool...my "dream" is to restore a B-17 because theres hardly any left in the world (about 13 flying i think) and i love them. I think it'd be really good to preserve something for future generations.
If you're 80 then maybe the sight of something like a B-17 is the last thing you wanna see having lived through that era lol...
