Taking into account the 2001 cencus of 1.5 million, there are some 1.8 million muslims in this country, obviously you have to split this figure between men and women and children, however the amount of Muslims in this country is not the issue, we will not have to worry about that anyway, we need to worry about what rains down on us, and what we reply with, and then deal with the fallout. it wont make any difference if your a muslim or a pikey!

approx. 10% of 78 million Egyptians = 7 million Christians

9% of 242 million Indonesians = 21.78 million Christians

No doubt, there are others tucked away.

My math was right, though I was calculating the wrong things.

I meant to say Muslim populations account for an average of 17% of the UK's major Cities, not 17% of theUK as a whole, hence my math woked out 10 million Muslims!

I would add that the 2001 cencus doesn't account for people immigrating here, Muslims that have gone home to fetch brides across, births, and illegal immigrants, within the last 6 years.
