Guns freely available in the U.S., most places. Here in this town of three-quarters of a million we've had 100 murders already this year.

Tend to agree with you on this one, Mart. If a 14 year old is found guilty he will recieve the juvenile equivalent of life, detained at Her Majesty's pleasure. Furthermore I think murder is the only crime where the age of criminal responsibility does not apply.

Most guns held at the time of Dunblane were never handed in- but reported 'lost'. No action, was scandalously taken against the 'great and the good' or against their gun dealer chummies.
Guess where the guns are now?

He keeps applying for parole. And keeps getting turned down- because if you kill a copper, life means life.
