I dont know about quitting the UK for tax reasons. I hear they tax you 40% in Europe though I think the cost of living and property prices a re a lot cheaper though

So you think it's ok to move elswhere in Europe only to come back for free cancer treatment? Isn't this guy taking someone else's place on a waiting list maybe? Maybe someone who's been paying taxes in this country for 'HIS' treatment? The same UK residents he thinks are scummy, are now keeping him alive........for free.

Whats macho -or vindictive- about my view? He moved to Spain, bought a villa & planned never to return. Whats wrong with Spanish cancer treatment? I mean, Europe's brilliant right? A lot better than the scummy UK isn't it? Why bother yourself in the flights & stress of airports to come here for treatment?

Could it be such a selfish thing as his bank balance? It's better to use the chavvy UK residents to keep him living, and let them pay for it, so when he gets better he can give them the bird & fly back to Spain all nice & healthy, with his bank balance unaffected?

The grass always seems greener Dibble! however I have travelled a lot, and wouldn,t want to live anywhere else, apart from the States, I have toured many times, and I actually prefer small town America, the people are so laid back, because life doesn,t exist outside of thier town, we can laugh at them, but they are genuinely happy folk still with a sense of family (kin) etc and seem to love life and all it throws at them.
