Its one of a handful of TV programmes that never dates...even 30 years on.
BRILLIANT writing, acting, scenarios......even fashion.....as well as the Ford Granada

You can guarantee that Dennis 'George Carter' Waterman will be writing and singing a theme tune for this as well

Ace its great because it is dated and those of us who remember it can reminisce the days when Carter and Regan were wearing flares and sporting side burns...Just dont let Tin Tin Tarantino get his mitts on it, he'll have a field day and put a funky soundtrack to it.LOL

I'm not sure about Guy Ritchie directing. As much as I like his movies I feel Nick Love is the right guy...Its a travesty Guy didnt do the remake of The Italian Job.

I just pray they dont cast pretty boy actors...I want hard steely eyed rough and rugged hard cases...Shit this makes me sound a bit gay innit?

The campaign starts for Jim Broadbent to reprise his Inspector Shouty George ("I'm a 20 guv a day man") from The Comic Strip.

I like Nick Love, but come on, there are so many aspiring screen writers out there, hundreds of fresh ideas, please stop raping old TV shows and remaking old movies.

By all means be inspired by the Sweeney, but create something fresh.
