You're blaming the NHS when political decisions since the heady days of Thatcher and her smack-head NHS advisor Dr. Clive Froggat are to blame for fracturing the service into individual trusts. You would be just as well to try asking the Department of Health rather than the NHS. Your vitriol is misguided and your assertion that you shouldn't make NI contributions is laughable. It's like saying you shouldn't pay tax on petrol because you only use it for a lawnmower. There is NO national NHS database because successive governments have fucked up- not the NHS itself.
Would you also want a reduction in your contributions compared to say a car accident victim who needs emergency treatment and months of physio and occupational therapy just because you've never needed more than a couple of stitches in a finger wound? Get real.
Jaques by name, idiot by nature.

Jaques, I had nothing against you personally until you insulted me. That quote you have knowingly taken out of context was referring to insurance companies that refused to pay out for perfectly legitemate claims, but then you obviously read what I put there and so you would know that. A bigger reflection on your character I think, trying to score points against me by distorting the facts of my blog's original article to try and make me appear more negative.
Have a nice day.

They are one and the same, they didn't work for you so fuck them like the NHS doesn't work for me so fuck 'em.

Hmmm...Jaques, so Insurance companies didn't deliver a service that I paid for, and the NHS didn't deliver a service that you only expected them to give you. No comparison.

Well that's OK then as I pay into a Private Pension as well as Private Health care. So a reduced contribution for Accident and Emergency only is perfectly fine by me and my preferred choice given that I am allowed a choice (which I'm not)
We live in a democracy? I must have missed that. Was it on the news?
