An enquiry would establish whether Blair had lied deliberately to the people.
All the evidence suggests that the intelligence services of this country and the USA knew perfectly well that Sadaam had no "weapons of mass destruction" and furthermore posed no threat at all to this country. In other words that the reasons going to war were a deliberate falsehood and that the invasion of Iraq, a sovereign country, of which Sadaam was the president was illegal.

No point. Everyones made their minds up. If he gets found guilty of lying it`d be what people claimed they already knew, if he got found innocent people would claim there was another cover up. People don`t want an inquiry, they want to sling mud and publicly discredit and humilate. Personally I think it`s Bush people want to focus on not Blair.

There is no precedent for a Prime Minister being charged with selling honours. Selling honours is simple and nearly everyone has done it. But it is a crime. Blair himself passed the law that trapped him! But he had to act politically correct in the inner circle. Everyone knows that Blair professed to be a Christian, the same going for his Roman Catholic wife. Now we know that he is known as a super salesman in the arms industry. Arms dealers have always been "respectable" as long as they were super rich. Some lived up on Primrose Hill. Arms dealers are so irreligious don't you think? Anyone can buy arms as long as they can afford them and in any quantity.

To me "the pornographer" it seems obscene and paradoxical that these salesman and merchants of weapons of mass destruction should be acceptable in a civilised democracy. I feel that they ought to be jugded by the numbers of innocent deaths that lay there forever on the killing fields of the theatre of war. If we sift through the debris of a battlefield we will find the makers and origin of all these deadly devices. When British troops invaded The Falklands they were met with British weapons. This country has the unenviable reputation of being the second biggest arms dealer in the world. You can guess who is the third!
