Excellently argued essay. I urge everybody concerned by this evil piece of legislation to read it and act upon some of the suggestions in accompanying websites opposed to it. This is a most serious threat to our sexual liberty, whatever ones thoughts on so-called extreme porn. If passed it will entail many a 6 o'clock knock on the door by the thought police. And watch out coming back from the continent with those legally bought (abroad) DVDs. Without doubt the bill will fall foul of European (not EU) rights to privacy legislation, but who wants to be amongst the first to test it, risking up to 5 years and a place on the sex offenders list?
