No planeterotica, you are not a miserable old scrooge, you are being sensible.

Christmas lights if used should be on the tree in the house and not lighting up all the country, using the electricity up!

Future generations need our help now if they are going to have a planet to live on in the future.

I must admit i am a bit cynical in starting this post as i enjoy looking at the Christmas lights ,just before last Christmas i walked down Oxford Street which is always well lit anyway but it was certainly a great sight, so if we all use energy efficient bulbs the rest of the year then perhaps we can have this bit of indulgence over the Christmas period !love!
