Marino,
If you exercise, are loved, drink in moderation and eat good organic food then you will be fit as your genes will allow. If I am ill I use herbal remedies and havent been in hospital for forty odd years.
Mike.

My other 11 guitars will probably be donated to strummerville which does encourage new musicians, but the tele comes with me.
Nice response, you obviously know about Joe's legacy

Yes, Alzheimers is terrible. I'd rather have Parkinsons Disease, in the way of I'd rather spill half my pint than forget where I put it

Ace,
Take Ginko Biloba which improves blood supply to the central nervous system and exercise moderately on a regular basis.

It never ceases to amaze me, just how much stuff you lot know.
I know I am not super bright, but I am no fool. But I read what you guys know and I feel quite thick sometimes.
I know we have some trolls about, but on the whole, I have found this forum an education .
How do you lot get time to learn all the things you do?
And do you ever feel like you leared something from these postings?

Marino, I don't know you but I suspect that your preferred mode of learning is by doing and as such you don't find book learning effective for you. If that's accurate I don't believe it makes you any less bright as there are many different kinds of intelligence. Unfortunately book learning is the predominant mode in terms of formal education, and a lot of kids are switched-off education because it's not the way they work. By the same token a lot of people succeed and are rewarded because they can 'do' this kind of academic learning which is largely about absorbing, retaining and recalling information. Your question about 'finding the time' is perhaps more one of inclination .. that it comes more naturally to some of us.
Personally I respect all kinds of intelligence and never underestimate or discount where you can find useful knowledge. Like you I find this forum educational and often its just about listening to people.
