He was one of the last presidents that wasn't a crook (that we know of). Then again, he pardoned Nixon. The last straight president was Carter. That means for the last 26 years solid, America's been run by crooks.

Don't forget that Reagan secret wars killed millions of people: Iran, Iraq, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatamala...
So in summary, Reagan was a very nice mass-murderer. Hmmmm

Now i stand to be corrected on this one but i think he was voted in as President, of the U.S. , as Vice President who was appointed by Nixon he took over the Presidentcy when Nixon was impeached, at the next election didnt he win the vote? therefore he was voted in he also pulled the U.S. out of Vietnam.

Re: Gerald Ford is dead.....
You are getting confused with Lyndon Johnson, who was sworn in as President on Air Force One at Love Field, Dallas, a couple of hours after the death of JFK, before being flown back to Washington. Jackie Kennedy was also present, and refused to change out of her clothes, despite them being covered in JFK's blood and brain matter, because in her words, "I wanted them to see what they had done to him."
