This reformation- Robbie Blunt and not Pagey/Beck et al- is to raise funds for a FOF of Robert's who has a brain tumour. It follows the sell-out gig he did at Kidderminster on 23rd December.

Midland muso and ex-Bill Wyman singer Mike Sanchez is the support act.

I read that Simeonon once said he only had to see a Zeppelin album cover to want to throw up.

Very rarely does such a complete cunt out himself so thoroughly.

I saw 'The Good, The Bad ..... ' on BBC2 last night and didn't think much to it really. No songs to speak of, a bit dull and 'samey'. I've got a lot of time for Damon Albarn's plaintive vocal melodies, but I just thought it was fairly unremarkable material. If you've got a good record collection I can't really foresee wanting to listen to 'The Good, The Bad and the Queen' so what's the alternative? Buy it, listen to it a couple of times and then forget it. It just seems like a forgettable effort to me.
