Sounds good to me, the slide up/down issue and paused music for incoming calls is just one fo those things you'll have to get used to, as you say.
I think I'll upgrade then!

Just heard that Cisco own the "iphone" trademark and haven't granted apple the rights to it. Seems like a real dumb fuck-up on Apple's behalf.
As a piece of naming, it's not very inventive, compared to a name like iPod, which was a smart idea. Looks like Apple might have to change the name. How about iTalk?

Cisco will shout and scream to make a lot of noise and then settle with a big fat cheque. Can't see Apple re-marketing it under a different name.
They screwed up though and I bet Cisco can't believe their luck.
*runs off to patent 'iMobile' and 'iCell' just in case*

Doubtless it's a quality item, and very appealing aesthetically, but I can't see this having the same impact as the iPod, and the hype is too much already.
If they want a new name for it, how about iWash?

Ipods I "get" but all this over a phone?
now, a dildo with built in mp3 player i do get.
