I've heard he's a bit of a twat, really hates "the professionals' the show that made him and allowed him to become a big player in later life.Apparently it was his objections that prevented the show ever being repeated on terrestrial TV.
Also, almost never gives interviews, is a nghtmare when he does, insisting on seeing the final edit of everything and having the right to stop braodcast.publication if he doesn't like it.

Can't bring myself to watch this sort of shite ... I have a life you know M'Lord, but can't help but feeling that Sheen just get's the chance to show how much of a luvvie he actually is in this particular programme!!
When I think how much of an Icon he was in the Professionals and see this watered down syrupy shite I can only plead guilty to the general lack of quality output by the British Stations ... but who know's if this series goes wrong we maybe catch him in Celeb Big Brother??

I like him a lot, and I know the reason he stopped The Professionals being re-broadcast wasn't about his loathing of Doyle, but the royalties that he wasn't getting paid. Cowley had died and Bodie was DESPERATE for the profile after his disasterous attempts to break into films.
When he did give a rare interview, it was to the piss-poor Davina Show, so he could look good and she'd look an amateur, although he did talk about Professionals while at ease and they did show some clip from the show.

Can't stand JJD, no need to with the welcome return of Waking the Dead, the new series of New Tricks on it's way and Life on Mars soon to be back as well. New golden age of crime drama.

I was also looking forward to the return of Waking the Dead, but who the hell is writing the scripts this time around.
So far we have had a case connected with Gypsies re-enacting ancient Druid ceremonies and then one about finding the skull of the Mahdi which ended with the revelation of a 100 year old society which has been behind torture in every conflict since the 19th century. Talk about jumping the shark. I've been really disappointed and, given the excellent cast, it's a real waste of talent.
