I thought this was going to be about the pallets of vacuum-packed $100 bills that went missing.

You can best believe that if I found them AND knew where they came from (the gov'ment) I wouldn't return them.

I just read about that. Amazing quote from some Admiral type interviewed on the BBC World Service:
Bremer's financial adviser, retired Admiral David Oliver, is even more direct. The memorandum quotes an interview with the BBC World Service. Asked what had happened to the $8.8bn he replied: "I have no idea. I can't tell you whether or not the money went to the right things or didn't - nor do I actually think it's important."
Q: "But the fact is billions of dollars have disappeared without trace."
Oliver: "Of their money. Billions of dollars of their money, yeah I understand. I'm saying what difference does it make?"

I've always been wary of reading to much into the S & B. Now Bechtel, there's a company worth looking at for clues on who runs America.

Yep! That's one reason how our presidents are PICKED to run.

Don't dismiss Skull and Bones, that's one reason why our country is run the way it is. Bechtel is another and don't forget the Council On Foreign Relations among other secret societies.

Mr Bremer, whose disbanding of the Iraqi armed forces and de-Ba'athification programme have been blamed as contributing to the present chaos, told the committee: "I acknowledge that I made mistakes and that with the benefit of hindsight, I would have made some decisions differently. Our top priority was to get the economy moving again. The first step was to get money into the hands of the Iraqi people as quickly as possible."
I'm surprised they bothered to land and unload the money. Why didn't they just open the bags as they flew over Iraq. That would have got the money into the hands of the Iraqi people very quickly.

Yep! So much for voting. Even if you don't like any of the candidates you're expected to vote or you shouldn't complain. That's the thinking of people who believe in the good ole american way. And since blacks got the right to vote we also are expected to vote in homage to those who fought for our right vote. Now what if we don't like any of the candidates? You know what they tell us to do? Vote for the lesser of two evils! Sounds to me like one candidate will march us to the death chamber but the lesser one will at least feed you a meal first!
