Steve,
I note what you say but don't you think that other English Film directors whose subject matter is explicitly sexual should be listed?
Mike.

I most certainly do.

Surely, whoever wrote the article should feel obliged to include other directors, thus making sense of the page?

Steve,

It seems that the page (English Porno Directors)was deleted! I was going to add John Lynsey and Ben Dover. It seems that most film-makers on BGAFD wish to remain anonymous. Why don't you add to the debate?

Mike.

Oh, I most assuredly would, were I in the least bit interested in the subject.

I don't even know the names of any porn directors, let alone anything about them.

Steve,

As you can see some anonymous person has illegally deleted the article in question but not the link on the discussion page thus attempting to stifle any debate. Ironically this proves how far impartial people will go to prevent the truth from being revealed.

How can anonymous persons delete an article as this is hardly conducive to a fair debate is is suppression of the truth indeed?

Mike.

Well, it seems that Wikipedia decided to delete it.

In addition to this 'Beelake', it looks as though four other people concurred that the page should be deleted. It must be said that all their criticisms of the page are valid.

As 'melonfarmers' (you?) pointed out though, I don't recall the phrase 'mafia woman' appearing in the text.

Steve,

Wikipedia did not delete it and this is clear ( it has been illegally deleted when Wikipedia specifically asked people not to delete the record) or else they would not have put a link through to the original page English Porno Directors. Everyone has not concurred and only four anonymous people who make invalid criticisms such as "badly written" when they can't even spell. Also others who say it is "not historically correct" when it is, or it is ""a hoax when it is certainly not.

The truth is a powerful weapon and it will win out eventually.

Mike.

Well Mike,

I have a feeling that those people who took exception to the page would have very little to complain about if the title matched the body content.

Whoever wrote it should simply re-write it with a more apposite title. If people still complained, then I'd be suspicious.
