Though we are taking the piss Blue Peter has been responsible for a true britsh role model/ icon..........John Noakes !!!!! How can you get better than a guy who held the longest free fall parachute jump, almost killed himself in a bob sleigh and climbed about 10 million miles without proper safety equipment.
