Just outta interest....has any one else ever been attacked by a swan? Fuck me its scary!! Was walking down a canal and had to pass one of the buggers as I had done many times before. So i gave the big white chap a very wide berth,moved slowly and did not make eye contact (a method that had served me well with Swans and Bouncers) and suddenly he whent proper spastic!! Crikey them wings look serious when used in anger!!

Been moved outta me fishing spot by a family of Swans that should have recieved some kind of ASBO as well. Dont know what it is.....swans just really dont seem to like me!!

I use an old trainig technique for fitness. I tie some bread round my legs, and get some savage, pissed-off ASBO swans to chase me round the lake.

As for the cock Marino was on about, I wish a proper hard swan like the type you mentioned, Beeston, sorted the fucker out.

we had a beautiful swan couple living on the river on the route I used to walk my dog was I was back in England, the female usually got a bit agro but the male was a top bloke as swans go

this saddens me that someone who wanted to "show off his new air rifle" would do so by killing a swan, and even worse, whoever he was showing it off to obviously approved

Some people dont think of things in relative terms and this is a sad indictment of some human beings these days. Still, he broke the law even shooting a swan dead. Grass the fucker out! If he really is selfish then the only way to hurt this guy is through his pockets and maybe a spell in chokey.

Since Swans are protected he should be held to account. It seems a sad case, and this dumb guy probably doesn't realise that shooting such an easy target isn't 'showing off' but makes him look a total cunt, unless the person he's showing off to is just as dumb as he is (very likely).

As a lad I used to earn a bit of money killing rats and rabbits in farms, with my air rifle. There's no challenge shooting a Swan/Duck/whatever.
