Marino,
If I lived on an estate it would become a no go area!

Warren,
I am half Irish and they wore kilts as well and so did all men until the invention of the trouser. Tights were worn with a codpiece that showed off the cock. Now men don't have cocks and have been truly emasculated!

I don't subscribe to the theory that the kilt was a recent invention. Look at the painting in art history for clues as to what people wore.

Okay Warren,
But men still wore skirts that did not compromise their masculinity and the 17th century is a long time ago! maybe they did not wear them in their present form but fashion changes and the kilt is a rejection of the trouser and re-establishment of male traditional dress.

Ha ha...if Mike moved to Holland people dont nick bikes there when all you do when you finish riding em is to leave them on the side walk and someone else will pick it up and ride it away.

Just dont expect to ride the same bike after a day for how many bikes I saw out there....millions and millions of bikes

Oneeye,
Thieves nick bikes all the time in Amsterdam. Leave it unlocked and some junkie will sell it for a fix!

The days of the white Provo bikes, that you could ride and leave died out in the Seventies.
