Yo Allan. Good plan to go with QuickTime. After all, if it's good enough for Fox, Columbia, Sony and the like to promote the their latest mega budget extravaganzas, it's certainly good enough for a few moody old shag films. But I'm not all that comfortable with all this talk of 'cheap this' and 'free that.' Remember, cheap usually = shit, cheap usually = crap and 'cheap' is usually employed by downmarket 'cheap skates.' I'm sure this is not the case in your instance Allan, but anyone who did not know you were a man of impeccable style and taste could get the wrong impression....
The software you require is 'Cleaner 5.1' by Discreet. But it is not 'cheap' and will set you back about ?560.00 quid.
Oh, and the internet is not 'free' nor will broadband connections be ?free? Someone, somewhere, has invested huge amounts of time and money doing the research and setting up the infrastructure of the net and broadband connections - those investors did not spend all that time and money just to provide you with free internet access - they want their money back, with considerable interest. In future you will have to pay the market price if you wish to utilize the net.
