Then why should you get the job Jason. It should be given to a more deserving candidate who did the work, isn't a maths thicko and doesn't tell people to fuck right off. Do a night course & work for your qualifications you loser.
Just because we're not telling you how to get you something you want, you go mad at everyone. Oh and by the way you do need to know about maths in your job, because you need to give change after you've handed their Big Mac over.

Work and study hard like the rest of us!!
You can take a re-sit if you fail.
I'm taking my ACS Gas in August, if I fail that, then its nearly ?2,000 down the pan with my college fees and 2 years of hard studying.
With gas, you can't piss about, its black and white, pass or fail, no rebates, and certainly NO fake certificate to say 'PASS'

Do what I do, have confidence in your abilities!

The view that exams are easier these days is a case of older people flattering themselves that they were brighter and worked harder than today's youth. The impulse is one of self aggrandizement !

Hi Jason,

You could try learndirect.co.uk - it's a government set up which advises on suitable courses or support you can access in your area. There's also a free phone number you can use which you'll find on the site, so you can talk to someone and get advice as to how best to get help with your maths.
There may be online maths improvement courses/support you can access.
Hope this is of some help.

Hi,

I think employers increasingly do check up on qualifications ( of course depending on what the job is/level of responsibility etc)-I've had to take my original certs/qualifications to job agencies as well as for permanent positions. I think that some employers may only be fully insured if their employees have a certain level of qualifications and with the country becoming more litigious, I feel that employers increasingly want to cover themselves.
