You can buy a name,but you can't continue a tradition so long broken.
Hammers were great till the late 60s,but then like most British cinema lost there direction in the early 70s.
Others tried this,remember the 70s carry ons? The 1980 St trinians farce,well all were attempts to recreate something best left to memories.
Good luck to them,I enjoy the renaissance in British cinema as much as anyone,but it has to look to the future to compete,not try to bring back the dead a la 'carry on columbus' fiasco of 92.
