Hey!!
All ways am amazed by how fantastic (nearly) every track on "Abbey Road" still sounds.
A huge percentage of "The beach boys" stuff is still mind blowing.
The "Small faces" can still hold there head up high in this company as well, all though I think some of there biggest hits have not aged as well as some of there lesser known/album tracks.
But last night I put my "Jam" boxed set on the computer and listened quite alot of it and I have not been able to stop thinking about it all day. Was dying to get home and listen again. Virtually every track on six CD's is fantastic!! All though I have to say one of my favourite tracks is not actually a weller composition (Any one tell me what it might be?) Tracks like "Down in the tube station at midnight" still blow my fecking mind!!
Any way....what do I know?

I am sitting here listening to the album Hejira by Joni Mitchell.
Recorded in 1976 and still sounds amazing.

I would actually say that great music doesn't date at all to me. The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Todd Rundgren it all sounds incredibly fresh and exciting as it always did. One thing though wasn't the 80's fuckin awful !
