Sayle was very hit and miss I found and defo loud, like he was
trying too hard. He and Elton etc. were just a product of times I feel

I did enjoy Alexei tho in that series about the fake Hitler diaries, when
he did tone it down his acting wasn't that bad

I really like early Alexi Sayle, and thought he was great in the Young Ones,
But never thought he had enough good ideas for a full series.
Ben Elton ...well I couldnt agree more........
But what happened to one time Scaffold member O'Gorman?

I loved the Young Ones at the time but hate to say that I now
find it looks very dated when it appears on TV

I can still watch Bottom and piss myself - God knows how many
times I've seen those and most of the stage shows
I can never get enough of Ade and Rik

Incidentally one of the funniest people I saw was Jerry Sadowitz
a fucking brilliant comic and damn good magician. Can't remember the
show he had on BBC (somebody probably can) that was brilliant but
sure it gave the beeb directors heart attacks and therefore think
it only lasted the one series

Fair comment - have you seen them in the comic strip's
Mr Jolly Lives Next Door? They are very like the Dangerous Bros. in that
