You should be OK with WindowsMediaPlayer.
If you have any probs playing downloaded files its always worth trying VLC player...

Based on info I received in this illustrious forum, I use VLC as my default video player. It will even play those 3gp' s or whatever the cellphones put out. The other day I downloaded some porn, & was aghast to see it was .iso(??), but good ol' VLC played it just the same. Indispensable IMHO.
