Back in the seventies George was a resident performer with the Feet Warmers every sunday lunchtime at a pub called New Merlins Cave in Islington. Have very fond memories of him singing
"It ain't no sin to take off your skin and dance around in your bones."
and many other surreal jazz numbers.
He also saved Salvidor Dali's life when the grand old man of surrealism gave a lecture in a diving suit at the RFH George realised that his strange behaviour was because he was starting to suffocate rather than fooling around.
