For once WZR, I'm with you on this one. The last thing the goverment needs to do is to make these loser's potential "Matyr's in the eyes of guilable Muslims; let them rot.
One thing I would change though, when they doing their time in chokey, I would restrict their 'rights' i.e. no television, no books of any description, no reading matter, no exercise.
Just let them sit there and go mad.

Warren take your meds, nobody but nobody is taking the piss, the question as to whether a warning was given was brought up.

I'd like to welcome myself to a totally new experience and that is I actually agree with Warren here (never thought I'd ever see that day).

Lets also quash another myth in that it's cheaper to execute them than to lock them up. It isn't. In the USA by the time the case has gone through all the legal process of appeals etc then the legal costs alone add up to around $3m. Compare that to the cost of banging somebody up for a year which is $60k to $70k per year (you can do the maths) and you can see that it isn't cheaper.

There's a possibility that it could be more expensive in this country as well as once an appeal has finished it's legal process here then it goes onto the European Court.
