true, i've been going to holland visiting mates that live there for years, but in the last couple of years it has got bad in amsterdam, I generally stay away from there now

the incident in question was wierd, we'd been pestered all day/night. As we were heading to the station another came alongside and trotted out the same old line- one euro etcetc

being bored of this by now and a bit fuzzy headed, i kinda shrugged him off
as he walked past I saw he was holding a six inch blade i his hand

que squeaky bum and walk the other way!!

I used to like the television series but I saw some of it again recently and its well dated now. The Holy Grail and Life Of Brian are good films though.

Series Four was pretty bad, I accept. Cleese knew just when to jump ship.

Just finished watching Ripping Yarns---terrific stuff. Doesn't all work, but--- like early Python---takes chances.

The Oxbridge link is important, because it meant they could do stuff beyond just slapstick and surrealism. A good education from these guys led to stuff like The Philosophers' Song or Chapman's brilliant (but nauseating) Medical Song.
