I've just rented one of those sex 'comedies' this week, The Sex Thief, which I got purely because you get to see Diane Keen completely naked...... nice!! film is shit though.

What I can recall about these films was a), they must NOT have any "sex" in them and b), they must NOT have any "humour" in them. Granted there were some tit and bum shots of some birds who occasionally appeared in mainstream TV of the time, and third division actors in need of a bit of cash to cover next weeks rent.

There was a documentary on CH4 a while ago about this subject.

There's a great book to accompany all these films, Simon Sheridans' 'Keeping The British End Up'....I even get a mention in the acknowledgements!!

True, but she had more sex appeal in her little finger than most the girls that willingly stripped naked, left more to the imagination. And oh boy that Basque, she could really wear a basque well, makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The films were awful though.

The one I remember who came on at the end of some of the
M & W series was Janet Webb, but I don't remember a ukelele
Seem to recall her thanking people for watching her little show

Could that be her???

Janet Webb was a large lady to say the least. She used to push Eric and Ernie aside and with a sweep of her arms would thank the audience for 'watching me and my little show.'

Whoever it was who came on at the end, Janet or Rita, was, I recall rather large.
