I find the whole Royal saga a waste of space
Come to think of it...like most reported 'celebrity' news
Meaningless manufactured drivel
Like Australias Danish Princess Mary...nothing but a real estate go getter from Tasmania who met a Prince in a Sydney bar...hardly a fairytale story but according to the Mags she's put Australia on the map

...Put Australia on the Map, bollox.
As far as I'm concerned, what put Australia "On the Map" globally, was all the programmes about Australian Wildlife, & in general, how diverse Austalian habitat (countryside), social culture, & wildlife is.

It's strange this as I don't personally know anybody who is really
still interested in this story. Yet the tabloids still print them, so it
must be of interest to someone.
Suppose the concert the other week was a big boost for the papers
to keep trotting out these tales - and as some of you rightly say the
Elvis conspiracy theory (+ JFK and Monroe etc) still rumble on years later

Desmond realises that his newspaper sales are on a terminal downward spiral, so he (falsely) believe's if he can churn this old hackneyed story then he just might sell a few more copies of his hypocritical rag.
The fact is if Diana had been wearing a seatbelt that night she'd still be with us. Of the 5 people in that car only one was wearing a seatbelt and was the only one who survived!

I really don't think it's about public interest anymore. I imagine most people just want to move on from the whole Diana thing, but it seems the ageing media barons still hold a candle. You have to remember that whilst alive she provided the press with endless acres of copy, and thus within the media she was very much worshipped in that love/hate sort of way of theirs.
Sadly the golden goose took the bullet early. How dare she? It's as if in death they still want her to provide the copy she would've been providing if still alive.

Al Fayed and Desmond are big mates. My mother has read the Express for years and has now cancelled it as she is peed off with another non existent Diana clue every week. If Desmond can tell us if aliens did land at Roswell, who shot Kennedy and why Arsenal sold Henry then I will let him off.
