Much the same, I suppose, apart from the cardigans, the beard and the
lack of talent.

Last series of the Buzzcocks, Ms Winehouse appeared as a guest, pissed as a fart. In spite of the host's efforts to get her to sober up ("Stay away from Pete Doherty he'll give you heroin. Work with Katie Melua instead---she's nice." AW (slurring): "I'd rather have cat AIDS."), she got worse.

Much of the mental illness/troubles excusing of behaviour seem crap. Not in her case, though, I believe.

Why her, in particular?

Good question, and one I can't really answer. But she definitely seems to be troubled, as I euphemistically stated earlier.
