1) Zero. Nada. Null.
2) Three ever.
Most of them have automatic monthly rebilling "for your convenience" (by which they really mean: "in the expectation that you'll forget / can't be arsed to cancel").
I'd NEVER on principle sign up to ANY site that has automatic monthly rebilling as the only "option".

No the really dangerous ones are ones that won`t let you cancel online and you have to call up to cancel because they`re assuming you`ll be too embarressed to.
And as for the questions?
1 I`d say on adverage two sites
2 I`ve been a member of about 30 sites at a guess.

If it's a one off payment, you're a member forever.
I'd want my own personal cloud for the money you paid. At least when I open my 'pebble appreciation society' you'll get your very own pebble which has many uses.
The standard 'hand pebble' is purely ornamental, but cheap. Then you've the 'paper-weight pebble', and the 'door-stop pebble' which are a little bit more expensive. The 'water-skimmer' is flatter and smoother, and costs the most. A thing of beauty.
Ah, but how can you prove it will skim?
We have a team of professional skimmers and a dedicated pool -complete with ducks- to skim them before they go on the shelf.
Due to individual throwing techniques, we unfortunately cannot garauntee a 'skim' everytime. We mainly have problems with History teachers around the border regions who mainly complain, but our investigations have concluded that it's the 'throwing like a girl' technique that was at fault, not our pebbles.
