I am all for the smoking ban great idea, I smoke less because of it,

However, the next person who comes and sits in the beer garden whilst I am having a fag and starts the fake coughing and remarking loudly to their mates "I thought smoking was supposed to be banned in pubs" is gonna get decked
This happens all the fucking time

That's just ignorance. The ban applies to enclosed public places, and that's it.

It is ignorance and its fucking annoying, some non smokers think the ban gives them the right to treat smokers like even more of a lepper/2nd class citizen

Never smoked ciggies not even to try...4000 chemicals and more addictive than heroin don't sound like fun

The next ban will be the smoking around public entrances be they shopping malls,buildings etc

Why someone can't just come up with a smoke free cigarette is beyond

I agree. Mind you, smokers have been allowed to be ignorant around non-smokers for years now.

I am glad there is a term for it at last "smirting" - I have met a nice girl and 3 grippas from smoking outside the pub, they turn up on their own, willing to chat, it makes it loads easier to get laid or at least have a reason to speak to them next time you see them in the pub

Smoking hasn't been banned! All that's been banned is smoking in public places.
