The author was born in 1983 so you can't really blame him. After all his education was conducted under the Thatcher junta and all that entails.

Trumpty, I agree.

The 80s went progressively worse as the decade went on..music was shite from 85 to 94 virtually non stop, but at least in despair I discovered the Zeppelin.

The Thatcher government was approaching fascist by 1989. I was ashamed to be British then- we went straight to the dogs.

The Thatcher junta was responsible for; the destruction of the British manufacturing industry, the rip-off of the "privatisation" of the public ultilties, the culture of greed, the instigation of the underclass, the denial of society and allowing her bum-chums such as Murdoch unfetted access to the British media.

I discovered and liked Led Zep way before then. By the 80s I'd realised where they'd ripped most of their riffs from.
